Bryony Moore (Manchester, UK) - Wearing a sandwich board in a shopping central in Manchester (one side ‘Art is the new shopping’  and the other ‘Art is where its at’). 

Mitra Mimarzia (Birmingham UK / Iran). ‘See a Penny’. One hundred pennies, 100 locations in Birmingham city centre….Who will find them??? Documentation to follow.

Bob Cousins (Liverpool / UK). The first ‘on the spot’ proposal verbally given to us in Liverpool by the man himself! Bob will be sending us his lifetimes philosophy in 200 words. We’re looking forward to receiving his eccentric wisdom soon….

Michelle Bint (Birmingham / UK). Breaking our own rules of one, one pound giveaway commission for each month - we decided to splash out and offer a further £1 to another proposee as we loved the spirit and the idea: Michelle will purchase bumper lollipops and sincerely hand them out to ginger haired people - as celebration and NOT humiliation!

July 2009
Elena Cassidy-Smith. Inspired by Enid Blyton novels, Elena Cassidy-Smith will create subtle interventions in the form of message in a bottle. Using the one pound to buy mystery novels, text instructions for finding locations in and around Wolverhampton (UK) will be placed in bottles….  Elena’s covert operations will observe what people may or may not do with the message discovered in a bottle or two…..Watch this space!

Anna Chrystal.  £1 has been granted to Anna to make an unusual snow globe. Inspired by her interest in fantasy and real life documentary photography, this one-off snow globe required a further £3 of investment before becoming a reality, all with a Tudor twist! Brenda helped with this commission, providing £3 quid.
