THE £1 ECCENTRIC ARTS COMMISSION
In early 2008, The Eccentric City newspaper launched the £1 Arts Commissioning scheme (what can you do for a £1!?).
The scheme for 2008 is formally now closed. We hope to launch a further grand opportunity in 2009. Watch this space!
Firstly, thankyou very much to all those who took the time and effort to submit a proposal for the £1 Arts Commissioning 2008.
We are pleased to announce the eccentric £1 recipients (please note that we took the decision on one or two months to dish out another £1 to support the oversubscription of great ideas).
The following people received £1 as follows (more details and documentation on some of the commissioned work below will be published in the third issue of our tabloid newspaper 2009).
